@cpp1 Thankfully, someone else here appreciates Kilborn and his superiority. His dryly ironic humor works much better than Ferguson's pseudo-drunken antics.

Craig Kilborn was BY FAR a better host for the Late Late Show than that Euro-clown Ferguson. It's just painful to watch Ferguson's awkward interviews with no-names. At least Kilborn was starting to make a name for that show when Letterman wouldn't cough up the cash to pay him his fair due; hence, the cheap Ferguson won that ridiculous slew of "test hosts" Letterman put on for publicity for whichever no-name D-list comedian won, and Ferguson was DEFINITELY a D-list comedian before the show.
