Mom and her babies at the dump

At the Wilkerson Rd. dump I chased off a dog that had made itself at home at one of my cat feeding sites. I followed her a short distance and found she had 3 puppies waiting for her.
Turns out she was quite friendly. She also looks like she has had several litters. I guess someone decided they no longer wanted this young lady and her offspring and left them at the dump.

There's no room left at the inn.

When animals show up at one of the sites I feed at, they get fed for however long they are there.

I feed around a hundred cats and 6 dogs so taking these healthy dogs to the vet would take away money for food and spay and neutering. Two days after this vid was made I arrived at this dump and there was a lady and her 3 kids looking for the dogs. They were nice people so guided them to the family. She said they would keep mom and one pup. She had friends that wanted the other two.

I haven't found a dog like this but if I do I would surely take it home and make it my pet, dogs are such good companions it's so sad people are so cruel

This video is truly heart warming! What a kind and thoughtful guy (DLHanson) who gave this mom some hope she deserved. She is truly thankful with her stares, tail wag and jumping around. It's the little things like this, that are captured on video that make me believe there are still good people out there. As my eyes well up with tears, the happiness I feel for this mom and her pups is overwhelming. Please help homeless pets by fostering and finding a forever homes for them.

@firefwi You know what give the guy some credit! Seriously what good would have come out of taking a dog mother with a litter of puppies to an overcrowded animal shelter where they would have been surely euthanized? Sure taking them to the vet would have been one of the better options in helping these animals out but coming from an experienced animal owner myself I know that without insurance the price of vet bills are tremendous and with our declining economy today people cant afford that.
