This song makes me cry EVERY time I hear it. I remember hearing this on the radio for the first time when I was 8 on the radio. It made me so sad cause a boy didn't have a dad. Thank goodness we have a father in heaven who never leaves His chair. :)

This song was used in an Alpha course video. There was a mime artist doing a routine to this song. I wish I could find that version. It was this vocal, though.

I also came from a dysfunctional family and it took a long time to recover. Thank you for this song it is like a soothing balm. I am now a senior citizen and this piece of music is like a big hug from my Lord ....Thank You again and God bless you and your ministry.

This song reminds me of how I feel about my father. He didn't care about my mom he just left her with me I never knew him and mom doesn't know who he is.
