Mario Kart Wii - The Drift Cup (Saturday) (2 of 2)

Here's the second half of the Drift Cup. The requirement for this one is that you must use an outward drifting bike. Of course, it doesn't specify that you have to do outward drifting, so I picked Automatic.

Race #3
Maple Treeway
Misfortune always comes at the end of a race, it seems. I maintain a stable spot. I have 1st much of the time, and a Blue Shell knocks me into 2nd. (By the way, there sure were a lot of Blue Shells and POW Blocks here. I wonder if most of them came from the same person.)

Race#4
Moonview Highway
Whew, that was a close one there on the second lap! It seems that someone tried to cut the corner closer and got hit by the car, allowing me to keep my spot. Really, I didn't know there'd be a car there. The near miss was an accident. Incidentally, Kenzers and I were tied at the bottom as of the end of Maple Treeway, but we took the top two spots on Moonview Highway. I suppose she ran into quite a bit of misfortune here too.

y is it tha u get a great first 2 laps then just lose the lead and drop to 6th or lower

@swaggkillz96 It happens sometimes. It's a normal part of Mario Kart Wii and keeps everyting unpredictable.

You can play Versus mode in Mirror Mode once you unlock the Mirror engine class of Mario GP.

When playing online, they show up randomly. You have no control over it.

To begin with the "rocket start," you hold down the gas pedal sometime when the countdown is at 2. As for drift, it depends on whether you choose Automatic or Manual.

@Funky3StarRanker can you boost out of the blue shell blast if you use a drift boost? I thought you could only get out of it with a mushroom

@swaggkillz96 Because other players behind him get fast items & catch up then he gets hit with the blue shell. thats what happens when u dont use manual.
