YouTube now in 1080p FULL HD!

To watch FULL HD Videos on YouTube make sure you have the latest Adobe Flash Player AND the latest Drivers for your Graphics Card installed on your System (Linux & Windows). Since most latest latest GFX Drivers AND Adobe Flash player support FULL HD decoding much better than the older ones. This can save you about 50% CPU Usage and can result in a fluent FULL HD Playback!

This Video is made at NO COSTS with Linux (Ubuntu) using Inkscape and kdenlive.

  • yep. Full HD indeed requires some hardware resources. Like a good idle CPU (multicore prefered), latest Adobe Flash player (older might do trouble!), and a fast and stable internet connection. Wireless LAN CAN be a problem with that! so you might check those things first to have best FULL HD experience on older computers. You also should check if there is a newer video/graphics driver package for your graphics unit in your notebook. this can also improve performance. good luck!

  • My graphics card on my laptop so doesnt supoort this. I got like 1,000,000 freezes
