Compressed earth blocks or CEBs are available in dozens of shapes. This block is a half block and it's designed to work with regular CEBs to reduce cutting. CEBs also come in curved shapes like this to make planters, decorative columns and cisterns. This is a special design for decorative columns. And here's a sample brochure of the different styles.
Google "compressed earth block" and "stabilized compressed earth block" for more info.

Do CEBs hold up well to weather? It seems that they're really weak in structural integrity since they're simply compressed earth and not fired like other bricks.

do they hold up to rain in a humid climate ?? or are they just for desert climate regions ?

Some of these look like they are fired, not sun dried... What of the machines to make CEBS? Have you given thought to how you would build a CEB press?

are they as good as earthbags? i mean simply the width of them comes not even close to a earthbag? and they are also not covered by some surroundings like the bag, hence i am thinking, will they do the same thing, same good, without a tons of chemicals inside

Have you ever made a tank for water with these? I would like to make a fish pond.
Thanks!
