Please Note: The Lcd can't be seperated from the digitizer, if you break the glass/digitizer you will have to replace both the lcd and digitizer together. The iphone in the video had a seperate digitizer and lcd already fitted before the repair was carried out

you can separate the digitizer from the lcd on any iPhone 4 by using CAREFULLY a heat gun to remove the glue.... Just did it in mine in order to change it to white.

@667845160 Its called using a heat-gun or a hair-dryer, of course it is possible to remove the digitiser from the front assembly :L

@n00b1n4t0r I have no clue how you managed that. I heated that sucker up to 300degrees, and slowly slid a blade between the digitizer and the LCD< and cracked it in like 50 places. that epoxy, even heated, was ridiculously thick.

@compmaster13 i dont know about the iPod touch but either way i would suggest you buy a complete set lcd+digitizer cause most people break their digitizers or dont glue them again properly and dust goes in.

Also, how can you transfer the home button?
