The very moving ceremony, retiring the number of one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history, Tom Glavine of the Atlanta Braves.

Tom is one of 6 left handed pitchers to have over 300 wins. He is a 2 time Cy Young Award winner, had 5 seasons with 20 or more wins, and 2,607 strikeouts. Tom won Atlanta the 1995 World Series, with 8 innings of 1 hit ball in the 6th game.

Between Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, John Smoltz, made up what was the best starting pitching rotation is baseball history.

  • @HadleyDGRC No doubt I fully agree so no argument here, just thought it was pretty cool how he put it.

  • @StevenGA1011 Because Hank Aaron IS the home run king, in spite of how many Barry Bonds hit.
