What Bear Grylls does is docuDRAMA... he's not actually "surviving" in the wilderness, but rather recreating what kinda sorta looks like it. Some of it is just plain wrong too (and perhaps dangerous if people try to emulate it). His show is more exciting on a superficial level, but upon closer inspection it's not at all "HOW IT WOULD REALLY BE". SurvivorMan (Les Stroud) is the real deal, and somewhat more of an acquired taste. Reality often is.

TV stations have their share of responsibility for deaths of people who die trying to imitate Bear Grylls, unless they clearly mark the show as a fake, cause it is FAKE. Bear Grylls himself might be a nice man but what he does has very little to do with survival. Most of his actions are exactly opposite to what should one do in survival situation. While his show might be entertaining, it hasn't any educational value. Go for Ray Mears or Les Stroud if you wanna learn something...

Bear Grylls is a better survival expert, a better human being and he actually packs out a venue unlike this guy who has about 13 fans in the room hahaha !!

Both Bear AND Les are great survival experts. It's a personal opinion. Stop arguing like a bunch of five year old's and go put what they teach you into practice.
