as a detroiter from the days of this song I can tell you this the only version we have in our record collection. I'm the proud owner of the orginal red lable A-square 45 single release of it. the rationals are the best detroit based group that did'nt hit the big time like seger,MC5,stooges,and alice cooper, but should have.in fact the MC5 use to play this version themselfs in concerts.thats a tribute to the rationals.

Growin' Up as a kid in the Motor-City 60's was a blessing... especially with all the cool rockin' bands, such as the 'Rationals'... and even now, that can both think and feel it, the Detroit scene still rocks harder than anywhere on the planet!
