In between my Chinese New Year Lohei Yusheng dinner at Loyang Aloha Resort on 15 February 2103, I notice two pet cats are wandering in the backyard of the rented resort bungalow. The sight reminds me of the song Our House when things were really rough and hard in the 60's when my parents raised us four kids up. Now that they are gone, I cant help but to refresh my memory when I got home and replay that ballad, Our House, again via Utube musical video by ex-Hollie vocalist, Graham Nash.

My favorite time seeing CSN&Y perform this song was in the late 1990's-early-2000's at the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park. Nash said it was written about a house up the road in Laurel Canyon and that playing at the Greek was like a homecoming of sorts. Quite the visceral experience. Another time was in Bethlehem, PA, with several CF Martin guitar factory personnel in attendance, these guys really have a nice way of showing their appreciation and expressing their true emotions to others.
