My homemade fishing boat...

was drunk and wanted a boat.. so instead of building a tool shed.. i used my wood to build a fishing boat.. took about 3 weeks to build .... 14 feet long, 5 feet wide at top.. 4 foot wide floor.. 5x5 casting deck in front and 5x3 in rear...

that is so close to a duct tape and cardboard boat I made with my friend at my school where we decided the boys should have a hobo boat regada and our boat almost won except my brother cheated and won by using plastic lining. we were second though and it was a great boat. how did you draw so well while drunk though?

did you ever consider putting pvc pipe around the edges to make it look better and so you don't have any rough spots on your top edges where it was cut to shape?

@craftsman35mph I eventually put black wire loom over the top edge... was like a rub edge too... tidy'd up the top of the hull and carpet nicely...
