In 1980 I was a rocker practicing and performing with Steve West Salute to Elvis in Dallas , Tx (I understand, as of 2011 Steve is still preforming Elvis)...anyway from a rocker's point of view this song can only be about one thing.
Once I explained to Steve what it was, he couldn't perform the song with a straight face, at least not if he made eye contact with me.

I was born almost ten years after elvis died and until I was 16 I did not even know who he was. But now I love his music. This is one of my all time favorite songs by him.
