The Jim McCarty Band - Backdoor Man

Aka: The Yardbirds Reunion (22 October 1991),St John's Tavern, London.
This is a rare footage of "Backdoor Man" which can be found on the album "Live and Studio Double Album" 1990 by The Top Topham Band.
The Jim McCarty band (1st 90's line-up) are:
Jim McCarty (drums)
Chris Dreja (rhythm guitar)
Rod Demick (bass guitar, lead vocals)
John Idan (lead guitar)

NB: According to John Idan, this is the first show that witnessed the comeback of Chris Dreja! ;-)

Rod Demick était une bonne recrue, alors on ne l'a plus vu. John a pris la basse à sa place & a passé la guitare à R. Majors qui à son tour a donné sa place à G. Mayo qui à son tour est parti. John, le 3ème Yardbird après J. McCarty & C. Dreja pour la longévité, ici guitariste, là bassiste, & chanteur, fut la clef de voûte dont avait besoin le groupe après avoir été un des groupes les plus légendaires ; il vient aussi de partir laissant à ce qui en reste le soin de bercer papy & mamie.
