You receive negative comments because of smug statements like: "They are the children Satan..." When you say something as unkind as that, prepare for derision from those who are more sensible than you.
the responses from those who do not know Jesus themselves will always be negative. Keep doing what ye have always done in trutth, love them all regardless of thier ridicule. Jesus loved them even while they murdered him. This is what we should all wish we were like, tho we are not. This is why the diffreence between GOD & all of us is SO Striking.
And btw.. People should treat you fair. Agreed. But even if they don't, you dont have the right to call them Nazis. That is dehumanization in itself.
And if you talk about your opinion being the absolute truth, people will attack that. Because its threatening. Especially since you have this simplified views about atheists, it makes people scared. How would you feel if you were part of a minority that has to be fight not to be dominated by a majority, a majority whose rules seem immoral to you?
I do not criticize you for believing in a God. If you religion tells you kiss your thumbs 3 times a day, go ahead. I wont stop you. I will object however if II'm seeing that you want to force others and me to live by your rules. Then I will criticize you, and ask for evidence, and tell you that your religion is just YOUR religion. It is not truth. And you have to understand that if you call people children of Satan, people will react strongly.
We are both in the same universe, intelligent human beings observing the overwhelming irreducible complexity that surrounds us. still this is logically consistent to assume that an intelligence “something” a massive Mind a Grand singularity, Command and instructed the universe which we are aware of into existence. “...everything outside of the universe" I’m not aware of the theoretical universes outside of our universe.
Most sane honest individuals will attest to their own existence so we should be agreed on the fundamental fact that we exist, and so does our universe of which we are aware. The question is, how did everything in the universe come to exist? My statement "something had to create it" supports your comment in that I agree something can't have come from Nothing! So then, something must necessarily have put it there! Something eternal (THE intelligence, massive in power) - having always existed.
@GEERUP - This kind of argument also shows a distinct lack of thought on the subject. For example, your argument is loaded in the sense that it implies there was nothing and that something had to create it. Have you ever experienced nothing Geerup? You don't even have a single piece of evidence or even logical support of nothing. Nothing is an entirely human concept. You are creating a problem by saying there was "nothing" and then demanding that god created "something". Faulty logic.
@GEERUP "The Christian perspective is quite logical : if something exists, something must necessarily exist to put their." - Not true Geerup. The only experience you have of causality is the universe you are in, which itself contains causality as one of it's properties. Your argument demands that this is the case for everything outside of the universe when you really have no basis at all for that demand. (continued).
@GEERUP "if you disagree with me is it possible for you to do so with mutual dignity?" - You get the respect you deserve Geerup and that is none. Not because our ideological positions differ, but because you simply deserve no respect and i am pretty sure that you yourself know the difficulties you have had with people in your own life who feel the same about you Geerup. You hold sick and twisted beliefs, coupled with a rather nasty outlook.
