Carlos Alberto talks through one of the greatest World Cup goals- against Italy in 1970. Please remember that this clip is about Carlos Alberto and the 1970 Cup Winning Brazil team. It does not make any reference to Maradona or Argentina or England. I'm sure those goals are elsewhere on YouTube, so please go there and argue about it.

Pele has the goal record for Brazil National team with 77 goals and only to star at a world cup at 17. in his time the braz league was the best and all the WC winners of 58, 62 and 70 played there. he could not leave brazil after being named National treasure by the government, even if teams like real madrid and milan offered with todays money over 300 million dollars

The Brazilian teams from the 58 and 62 WC's were based solely on two clubs: Santos (for which Pele played) and Botafogo (for which manager Saldanha played), the best two in Brazil. Most other clubs during that time were subpar comparatively. Under Zagallo in 70 this policy changed, and only to include Corinthian's Rivellino and Cruzeiro's Tostao. 70 Brazil simply played with the best players possible, regardless of position. And this was the result. Never again will this be seen.

No no no... The current player is fitter, you say? No, it's not. Think about it. Before 1990s, injuries is seldom enough to be said no one suffered. And now?

Why? I think that because football depends too much in the technology. Because of that, natural selection is diminished.

We can watch that especially in the injuries-prone player such as Wesley Sneijder. If the dutchmen play in the 1960-1970s, I 'm sure enough that he will be trashed even before he begin his career.

lol fifa abolished man marking dumb fuck?

really old fart have some respect for yourself you old tard. its teams who decided not to man mark coz players are fitter and faster and more skilfull nowdays.

If it had been now there wont be 3 italian defenders vs the best team and arguably the 4 best players of that world cup. it would have atleast 7 defenders marking those 4 players.

lol the game is way more tactical and organised than when pele played
