That's a mean machine

1125r is geared to top at 170 redline. Race ECM bumps that about 5 MPH. The CR is geared lower at the sprockets for more torque and tops out at around 163.

My 25R is just like yours...Midnight Black with the Diamond Blue frame. My personal favorite of the Buell color combos. No mods, but will soon get the 2010 L.E.D. tail light.

did you get the full black one, like mine. Or you got the white and blue one?

I have been looking at this bike for the last 2 1/2 years. No one can tell me the top speed or whats the diff between the 1125r and its brother 1125cr. Can you please shed some light on the subject. This bike is my only hope of having an American crouch rocket that can hang with my friend & family on their busas and ZXs. I dont plan to race, but at least try to keep up. otherwise I will be going the italian route. I love jap bikes too but I wanted something different, ya know?! thanks

@shinshenx The top speed of the bike can be adjusted with the computer setup. When I first got it. It could get up to 175 or so. Then I got this update. and took it down to 165. however, low speed riding is a lot smoother in city. The bike has tons of power at lower RPM. can Clutch out No gas and go 11 mph. Get up and go really fast. Top end is lacking just a bit. The difference between 1125r and the CR is just looks I think. 1125R is more spotty of course. Check out my other videos.

theres an 08 1125r on ebay for a buy it now $5699.00 but I am afraid to buy it and have it break. my insticts are telling me this bike is just to new and not really road tested for years. does anyone know if these bikes hold up? I have had a 99 road king that never broke down and a zx11 that never had a single issue so if I buy a buell and it falls apart I will kick myself for not listening to my insticts.

@jerseyassasin1975. K. So, I have about 8000 miles on mine so far. Nothing is wrong with it. Its a fast n great handle bike. Pro is light, comfortable to ride, lots of power. Con is bike could get a bit hot in summer. N does not come with steering damper. After market parts could be a bit hard to find. Since its new. Feel free to ask anything else.
