I used to rent an apartment close by to where Maria lived and each day I would look up at that building and think about one of the most amazing talents of the 20th c., always regretting I never saw her on stage.

Maria Callas fue y seguira siendo la mejor cantante de Opera que ha conocido el mundo, quiza muchos no conozcan de ella pero su voz perdurara para siempre y su legado servira de inspiracion para futuras generaciones. Viva Maria Callas!

@B1gL3o 'E il nome (intero) di Callas scritto in greco! "Calogeros" significa il "frate" o "monaco". Maria Kalogeropoulou (si pronuncia Kalojeropulu in italiano) significa in greco "Maria la figlia del monaco". 'E un cognome abbastanza comune un grecia. Ciao!
