  • @c312eal 4wd cars will not have acceleration advantages on straights they will to the contrary have disadvantages on straights cause they are loosing power having to send it to 4 wheels instead of 2, only reason a skyline will pull away from an nsx on straights is cause it´s boosted to shit and has a huge power advantage. But correct in that the NSX will almost always have an advantage in corners. And Keiichi is correct in stating the NSX as the king of JDM.

  • All the hate on the Hondas, then all the backing with the Evos, the MR2s, GTRs, etc. Keep in mind that you're comparing non-turbo cars (Hondas minus RDX) to all boosted cars stock for stock -_- Honda makes engines that rival the power of boosted cars with N/A power. Why you think turboed Hondas done right are so F'ing fast? I love all cars, well most.... but Honda does it right by building a hell of a N/A engine that can be boosted to hell and back.

  • NSX= very underrated car

  • All I gotta say to the nsx noobs. Evo VIII FQ 400... King of JDM...

  • @sofranko102

    You're either a troll or a retard.

  • @sofranko102 1. That's not what it means when it says "enter your text here." Video uploader error. 2. What MR-2? 3. No it wouldn't, an MR-2 is slower than shit. Toyota MR2 is what I'm assuming you mean. My Chevy Supercharged Cavalier can keep up no problem with the MR2. That's a 220hp POS cavalier. An NSX and a GTR would destroy my cars balls.

  • I stared at this nsx a bit and found it was a TARGA. Watch this video I found where the GT-R is tested against a standard NSX COUPE.

Watch this video, NSX with ITBs vs R33 and R34. Notice how the R34 pulls away on the straights, because of 4WD acceleration advantage, but once the corners comes the NSX will catch up. Keiichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya himself says the NSX is the King of JDM with tons of potential. He used a NSX to set a time record on his home touge in Usui, which is FULL of corners with barely any straights.

  • @Guerilla333 But they don't win Le Mans do they? Le Mans is not known for cornering. It's a race track with very long high speed straights. Fact is the R34 is 300kg heavier than the NSX. Heavy cars do not corner well even with 4WD. If the R34 was the same weight as the NSX yes would have a chance in the corners but it's not. R34 is steel and NSX is aluminum. NSX has lower of center of gravity which means once again gives it a HUGE advantage in the corners.

  • @Guerilla333 Even with the 4WD, the r34s are 300kg heavier. 300kg is A LOT. That 300kg will cripple the R34s in the corners and at the corner exits against the GT-R. Drivetrain or not, GT-R still has to obey the rules of physics. Like you said what makes F1 cars fast is P2W ratio. Another thing is the NSX has A LOT lower center of gravity, with a MR layout that puts all the weight of the car in the middle compared to the front heavy R34. This means the NSX will throw A LOT of Gs too.
