okay; this is really pissing me off. the song is not about us waiting for death. it's about him and his girlfriend fighting all the time and they stay in fights because both of them refuse to apologize but they know they're so much better than that.. so she goes to a motel and they continue fighting. so in the song - he finally apologizes.

I once met a guy, his name started with a D. I absolutely love Modest Mouse now because of him.. Sadly, he lives in the US and I in Canada and it's just not possible for us to be together but If I could be given the chance.. god, I'd trade everything I got for just a embrace in his arms and a taste of his lips. But it's unspoken. Please thumbs this up so he can see It and come back to me.. <3 I know he will, he's just that observantly amazing.
