On August 23,1959, the Prime Minister of Jordan stated, "We are the Government of Palestine, the army of Palestine and the refugees of Palestine."

Israel now enjoys peace treaties with its neighbours Jordan and Egypt.

The path to peace in the West Bank and Gaza must involve the division of sovereignty in the West Bank and Gaza between these three nations in trilateral negotiations chaired by the Secretary General of the United Nations.

Israel stands ready to enter into such negotiations to cede sovereignty of the heavily populated Arab areas of the West Bank to Jordan. Israel's unilateral withdrawal from Gaza indicates its willingness to cede sovereignty in Gaza to Egypt or Jordan and not rule over its neighbours.

I urge you all to abandon the idea that Jews have no legal right to settle in the West Bank and reconstitute their national home in that area. If international law is to have any meaning in regulating the conduct of the international community, then you must give legal effect to the Mandate and article 80 of the United Nations Charter.

Seize the day, because the time is short.

If the 170 dignitaries present were not prepared to listen, at least the 15 million Jews all over the world would be applauding Israel's prime minister for his principled stand, instead of recoiling at his abject acceptance of Jewish rights being trampled in their own homeland by a United Nations acting in breach of its own Charter.

Palestine is the name of a mandate

at 1917 the british empire supporter the jews to establish their own state in the whole palestinian mandate (jordan, the west bank and israel)

but after the riots (nabi musa riots etc. etc.), they gave Jordan (2/3 of the land) to the arabs and said that the jews would only live in the west side, yet, the UN seperated the seperation, gave israel 60% desert, and the arabs attacked this israeli state.. palestinian crimes against humanity thats what its called

If there is so much Arab unity why can't "Palestinians" get legal citizenship and work permits in other Arab Countries?Many statements are made by Arab leaders pretending to lead "The Palestianians"...Arabs but yet they starve in their host Arab countries.While the UN is forced to feed, educate and clothes the majority of fellow Arabs, who fled, the area West of the Jordan River.Your fellow Arabs have used you and thrown you away while they starve you and deny your a living.Arab unity huh?

PuttingIt Mildly is 100% correct about the mandate etc.Israel will never give up Judea and Sumaria.Under Ehud Barak and Olmert the Arabs (Palestinians don't exist) turned down a peace deal.Arabs have proved again and again their only interest is to destroy Israel.So now that Gaza is controlled by Hamas the Western World can see what peace with Arabs really brings.Once your fellow Arabs are done using "The Palestinians" they will dump you to the UN.Jordan will become the "Palestinian" Arab state.

Jordan is palestine? HELL NO. We keep their refugees in our country, but that does NOT make us palestine. That just makes Jordan a very helpful country. Jordan first, Palestine last!
