http://www.metalmethod.com - November 15, 1985 - a time when men with giant hair roamed the earth. Their addiction to hairspray is often sighted as the primary reason for the destruction of the earth's ozone layer.

Hawk was lead guitarist Doug Marks (Metal Method guitar instructor), bassist Lonnie Miller (King Kobra, Bullet Boys), Scott Travis on drums (Judas Priest, Fight, Racer X), and Charlie Morrill.

This performance is from Hawk's Roxy show in Hollywood, California. This combination of musicians never recorded an album. The Hawk album was released the following year and featured only Doug Marks from this lineup with vocalist David Fefolt (Masi), and drummer Matt Sorum.

  • the song speaks for it's self I love it.

  • think these are the lyrics if any one wants them sorry for any mistakes i did them by listen to the song ; Watch the wind blow through your hair and I'm in love with you .You didn't care you walk on the beach baby day after day I think I'll lose my mind if I don't find something to say Baby baby(repeats 4 more times) and why did you go and now I have no one to love and why did you leave me alone now I have no one to love

  • Your light turns the dark to day and since you love me there's nothing more to say I walk alone through night memories in the wind I think of things we did and places where we been Baby(repeats 5more times)

  • WHY and why did you go now I have no one to love and why did you leave me alone yeah now I have no one to love no one to love now I have no one one to love and now I have no one to love and now I have no one to love Alright and why did you go and now I have no one to love and why did you leave me alone and now I have no one to love and in the end alone again with no one to love no one to love baby

  • Hey Doug, in general, do a lot of heavy metal musicians have bad attitudes? I know back in the 80's a lot of rockstars were like that. I'll name a few - Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Dave Mustaine.

  • Hey Doug do you have to be a prodigy in order to be a good guitarist. Or does it take a lot of practice. Examples of prodigies are Yngwie Malmsteen, Randy Rhoads, Reb Beach, and Eddie Van Halen. I started learning the guitar when I was 15 on a nylon string classical and moved on to an electric and had some formal lessons. After that I started to learn from tab off of guitar magazines and then started to learn by ear. I then ordered your lessons in 1990 which were made in 1988.
