being asian makes you a good practicer

Italian + Russian + French + a little creep = Stravinsky

no it has nothing to do with distinctive genetic traits related to ethnicity, but a lot to do with culture. It's almost all related to her culture I'd say. So yes there is a link to be done between her ethnicity and her talent, but not when you talk about genetic traits. That is merely a joke in my opinion. Some people may interpret it wrongly though, and that's bad.

Stravinsky is a reason to live.

Excelente brillante Shin Hion Su su sonido especialmente agudo y dinamico + tecnica increible hacen de esta version algo especial !

I love Stravinsky's neo-classical style.

This is super cool, I just wish the recording was crisper so I could hear all the instruments better. The solo Bassoons and stuff kinda get lost in the sound quality, but the sextuplet-septuplet trills they are playing are super cool!

@SNAzzALi Speaking a tonal language, like Chinese greatly increases one's odds of having perfect pitch, which rarely does a musicians wrong.

@hantpak absolutely! It really is a great piece and so different from all the other violin concerti in the repertoire. Just as accessible as Vivaldi too.

Is she asian?? I just thought she ate lots of rice.
people, really. these comments about asian musicians somehow being genetically better at violin are so not cool.
ones ethnicity has nothing to do with playing ability. Being asian doesn't make you a good musician. Practice does.
