Hello

Unfortunately health reasons have forced us to stop work on the bus. Zel was diagnosed with a non malignant brain tumor in February and is under going treatment but is expected to make a full recovery. We do appreciate the interest in the bus, Zel and me are looking forward to the day when we can get on the road again for an extended amount of time. As you know there is nothing better than seeing whats over that next hill.

I went veggie recently and it is quite a learning curve for me. Gas/deisel will shoot up soon or maybe soonish as most of us know.

We purchased in Sept a used MATS 2002 35 passenger diesel pusher for $3,500.00. Excellent shape w/91k on a two year old rebuild of a Det.Diesel w/Allison auto trans. tires are really nice w/ 5k on them interior will come out easy and I have already got a buyer for most of the seating. we want to do a single sleeping r, we picked up a shower/head combo for a large boat that will fit.our budget is $6K and hope to be done summer 2010 will post photos

There is a system where you just pour the oil straight in the tank. It does the filtering on the spot instead of the arduous task of doing it yourself. That may be an option for you. The city may not object to that, since you really aren't setting anything up per se. I'm sure you are aware there are tons of sites on the net. I think I read you could buy straight veggie for quite a bit less from a supermarket but I'm not sure that's correct. Hey, good luck with your project!!!

We have checked into 'Home Brew Bio Fuel' but our city will not allow us to set up any such operation in the city.My girl did some checking and at the last auction a 94 Eagle pusher w/ 250k+ miles sold for $1,800.00 i'm hoping we can find such a deal. We have settled on a budget of $15,000.00(usd) max for the project.I'm 50 yrs old and disabled so my lady will be doing more this time but i have four brothers who will also help. Take care

Yeah, with the economy the way it is you may be able to get your pusher a bit cheaper. If "greasel" were more viable that could be a nice option for you. Good luck on your endeaver! Hopefully the canvas will be a bit more palatable (pun intended) soon!
