This man goes to Paignton beach regularly when it's dark and flies this kite. Terrified my children!! The kite is very large and has different light sequences.

you need educating how do you no what real ufo,s look like?
the object in this video is being distorted by the artifacts of the digital medium being used to film the object, also add low light and a camera starts guessing colours.. if this person faked it i would like to no how, because they have used and suggested all the trademarks of a fake in this video, even the totally out of context soundtrack to further cover up any possible chance of hearing other people gasping in amazement etc

Hmmm. I live in Brixham, about 6 miles from Paignton. I'm guessing that what you saw are the light beam show that originates from somewhere on the seafront when a disco is on.
But without a clearer image, I can't tell for sure.
What time of the night was it Dumpydave?

the lazer lights from the peir or the light house pub don't change colour. I just wish i had my camera with me instead of recording it on my phone. It would of been clearer. I wasn't the only person who stopped to look it was around 9pm.
