Haier 32" LCD 720p TV Image Review

This is a review about the image of this Haier LCD TV using Tron Legacy for demostration purposes. The video was taken at night and you can see the image with and without lights in the room.
The model of this tv is L32D1120 and I purchased this tv from Amazon.com for $197

@MDRrubberducky 1. make sure you use an hdmi cable . that's all I got, rememmber that this tv is only 60hz and the response rate is not that good, sorry I couldn't be of more help

I bought 2 of these on Black Friday and overall I'm over the moon with them. However, I'm having a problem with the aspect ratio. My son has an HD DVR box from Comcast hooked up to this set. No matter which picture setting we choose (wide, theater, normal, zoom) the top and bottom of the screen are cut off. It really ruins the viewing experience. Do you have any suggestions? I didn't have this problem when it was hooked up to a regular DVR (Non HD) box.

@tlatrice13 I don't have an answer out of my head right now, however, I must ask what cables are you using to connect the HD DVR to the TV? second, I used to work for Dish and a lot of set top boxes are not set for HD by default, you have to go to settings on the HD DVR and select 1080p, that might be the cause, hope this helps!

hey, i got this tv on black friday also, i really like the picture for tv, but when play xbox on it the picture is not the best, it is really boxy and like fog when i move my guy in battlefield 3, any tips for making it batter for gaming

@phrueben32 Thank you for responding! I am using HDMI Cables to connect the box to the TV. I tried to go into the setting menu but saw no option for changing the setting from 720 to 1080p. I hope I cna get this resolved soon because other than this issue it's a great set!
