This is a clip I came across from a show called Highlights, filmed in 1988 featuring Phil Keaggy. This was filmed around the same time as Phil's Electric Guitar Style video, and of course, the Sunday's Child album. The clip features some behind the scenes takes from the making of "Tell Me How You Feel" off of the Sunday's Child album, along with clips of him in one of his solo venues playing tracks from The Wind and The Wheat. He also shares his testimony, a look into his family life, and about his relationship with Jesus. A very enjoyable video, as I'm sure most Keaggy fans will agree. Enjoy! =)

  • @flarbton this is the LIVE track they use to then go back and re-record the song in the studio from. It's like the musician's scratch pad that forms the basis for the painting later on... it's a draft, a demo, then it gets "gooder" - so chill, this is not the real deal :)

  • @flarbton Wrong: watch?v=HPxXwom1H4U for all audio channels full on

  • why try to sing?, he sounds like a goof

  • @shawnuel

He's made a video called "electric guitar style" where he shows several solos and techniques from his songs and at the end, there's this clip. He explains that he made it with some friends from holland.

  • It is weird. that version of "Tell Me How You Feel" doesn't feature any of the guys who played on the record. To my knowledge. Actually, drummer, Dennis Holt is the only guy I recognize from these sessions, but Mike Mead played drums on the record along with Rick Cua on Bass and James Hollihan on 2nd Guitar and no keys. But this is very interesting to see. Also, I believe the Rickenbacker that is sitting on the side is the guitar Phil used in the studio for this song.

  • There is a clip of this entire song in the studio on his electric guitar style video as a bonus feature. Thanks for sharing this one. It's a shame more guitar players haven't heard him.

  • Wow I remember when this first came out.

Classic 80's Electric Drum sound, hee!

  • yep this is new to me too, good stuff!
