  • Wheres the rest of the pilot???

  • @Credithelper75 Well, don't you come off as a bit entitled.

  • @JAldridge86 I want to know too, where's the rest of the pilot?!

  • @SecretTimeWarp Look up "All In The Family - Unaired Pilot Part 1 of 3"

  • Ironic that every revision to the opening over the run of All In The Family seemed to be for the purpose of E-NUN-CI-A-TING sufficiently certain parts, especially the Lasalle that ran so great. Yet in this prototype version that and all the rest are very easy to understand!

  • @Credithelper75 There's actually two unaired AITF pilots bouncing around Youtube.

  • WOW 1969? Sounds like a perfect time to have a show centered around a character like Archie Bunker! And I mean about turmoil in government and the changing times of the sexual revolution and womens rights and other things of that ilk! Or elk as Archie would have probably called it! Thank you for posting!!!

  • @littlebit19801 Yeah, it wasn't until the last few episodes of Season 1 when Edith started talking in her trademark 100% purebred dingbat voice.

  • They both came from upper-middleclass families, basically Republicans. The lyrics make several overt references to this, their love of Herbert Hoover, a president whose monetary policies basically drove the US into the Great Depression, didn't need no welfare state, everybody pulled his weight, a refutation of the New Deal of FDR, girls were girls, men were men, rigid gender identifications, referring to the LaSalle auto, a marque that was just below Cadillac in cost, longing for the 20s & 30s.

  • Edith seemed a little grumpier here and in the early episodes.

  • The entire cast of All in the Family was ultra-talented.

Lord help Hollywood if they even THINK of remaking this.

  • I like this :)

  • this is from the 1969 one, someone posted the uber rare 1968 "justice for all one" in your vid comment
