This advanced routine focuses on the abdominals, the obliques and the low back muscles. Safe for those who are physically fit and have been following a regular exercise program throughout the early stages of pregnancy. Not advised for those in 3rd trimester or recent post-partums.

  • I recently found and have been using several of your videos. (I really like the warmup and yoga video.) I used to be a marathon runner; 3 pregnancies in 3 years is slowing me down. I am working out; I am not in as good of shape as I once was. I am 20 weeks and will be seeing my Dr.. in three weeks, so I will wait on this workout, but I did hear your warning about a pointed stomach and was wondering if you could explain that more. Is it due 2 ab separation?

  • @jlclancy Yes, when the abdominal msucles separate, they will allow your stomach to come to a point or an upside down V shape when you do a crunch. That is your indication to discontinue crunches until after baby is born. You may continue to do Kiegels and postural exercises such as standing up tall and pulling in on your abdominal wall.

  • I searched and searched until I found your videos! I've been working out for 2 yrs consistently about 4-6x a week until I got sick in November & December... found out I was pregnant in January and then been sick with morning(all day!) sickness for 9 wks. Now at 18 wks I am sooo happy to have a good fitness routine that isn't just stretches! You're a huge help to me and I look forward to have a fit pregnancy!! THANKS!

  • @nellrowley Thank you! Glad to have you with me...stick with the videos and join us on facebook at "Educated Pregnancy" and I'll do my best to keep you motivated to have a healthy pregnancy.

  • Stacy this routine may be performed just once a day three days a week, more often if you are advanced.

  • I'm 18 weeks and I just tried these out. How far along are you in this video? You are my inspiration! Youre so FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @laceycasella About 1/2 way through 2nd pregnancy in this video...thank you! Glad you found me - stick with it!

  • @haiduculc Sure - start with either the warm-up or cardio abs. Then choose one of the weight videos and perform that one routine 2 or 3 times in a row. Follow up with either yoga or stretch. Mix it up every day to get a great full body workout each week.

  • @haiduculc You are so welcome - thank you!
