Etihad Airways New Diamond First Class Suites

This is Etihad's new Diamond Zone to be rolled out across the fleet starting with an Airbus A340-600 in August 2009.

By the end of 2010, all Etihad 3 Class A/C will be with the Suites & new Pearl Business class seats.

New Economy class cabin/seats will be launched next month when the first 333 is delivered.

The 332 current 3 class will be converted to 2 class. So all 332 will be 2 zone

333 to be delivered from Dec will be 3 class. All 333 will be 3 zone a/c

345/346 refurbished by Dec 10 for all cabins.

77W will remain 2 zone. Till the new 77W's to be delivered from 2010/2011 will be 3 zones

do you know if the new ethiad suites will be in the new 777-300ER's too?, or only in a340's?

I don't think so.. They r only on the planes that operate first class which r the A330s and A340s.

well Emirates was the first airlines ever which introduced first class suites on their airplanes, then flowed by singapore airlines and jet airways, well i have to admit that the their new first class is spacious but still prefer Emirates first class suites as their finishings are away better than all the airlines first class suites! Emirates is still the best airlines!!!

You're right, thats what I think too. I think Emirates is the best regarding to First Class. But I still want to try Etihad's new suites. In fact I will see them live at the Travel Exhibition in Dubai.

PLEASE! SQ suites are twice the size of EK'S little coffin. Offering a real bed and it actually looks like the Four Seasons Hotel................O my EKFANboy.........anything better to do then trying to bash on a TRUE world renown legacy global premier 5 star airline such as SIA....Cause at the end of the day its about the awards and reputation, not so much on personal opinions.

I flew with Etihad to Beijing and I was only in Economy class but it was the best flying experience I have ever had! The staff know how to make flyers feel special and they are so nice! If I ever fly long-haul again I will definitely choose Etihad!

It is interesting to compare Emirates and Etihad. But I think that Emirates are better.
