For two months during the spring of 2003, jazz violinist, Aaron Weinstein toured the Midwest with quick fingered jazz quintet, Hot Club USA. The group was comprised of 4 other stellar musicians; Frank Vignola on lead guitar, Joe Ascione keeping beat with his djembe drum, Joel Forbes slapping bass, and Don Keiling at rhythm guitar and vocals. Before Aaron left, we decided he should take a video camera along with him to document the group's journey. What we have assembled is a short, documentary style intro to the group with never before seen concert footage and an inside look at life on the road.

Songs include:
I'm Getting Sentimental Over You
I've Got Rhythm
The Shiek of Araby
Tiger Rag
I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart
Someone to Watch Over Me
Puttin' On the Ritz
Dark Eyes

Taped on location throughout the tour in:
Saginaw, Michigan
Cleveland, Ohio
St. Anthony Village, Minnesota
Anoka, Minnesota
Montevideo, Minnesota
Fairmont, Minnesota
Great Bend, Kansas
Johnson, Kansas
Topeka, Kansas
Liberal, Kansas
Chanute, Kansas
Parsons, Kansas
Olney, Ilinois
Paris, Illinois
Manassas, Virginia
Armonk, New York

Additional Support provided by The Atwater Jordan Group, Bloomington, Indiana.

  • Excellently made video - but how do you get a 10 minute one on Youtube? The most I can upload is about 5 minutes.

  • you need to get a Director Account
