I know Im on complete minority on this, but Left For Dead 1 is overrated.
Graphics: L4D1's are better, but graphics dont always make a better game.
Music: L4D all the way, L4D2's Music Sucks.
Characters: I hate Bill, But i hate Rochell more. The rest are great but with mixed opinions.
Weapons: L4D2 can be too generous with items, but the wepons Make L4D1 look like a joke.
Infected: Smoker, Hunter, Boomer and Tank look better in L4D1. But Witch, Spitter, Charger and Jockey are fantastic in L4D2.

But L4D is more dull than L4D2 because L4D takes place near the center of infection and they have less chance of survival. L4D2 takes place in the south so they still have a chance of escaping. So...
