The sentence was far too lenient. Such a vicious, unprovoked murder for no reason what so ever, and he only gets 15 years? It's a horrifying thought that he'll be back on the streets again so soon.

Friends, is this really what Humanity is capable of?... No we're better than that, those 3 muggers deserve a more painful and righteous sentance, what has the the world come to? War? Violence? Hate... is it really that? Follow the Light, follow your mind. Show to everyone you are better, i know you can find it... but Can you Find the Way? this is very sad................... humans will be the downfall of humanity........the question is why people have become so violent .. all sense seems to have gone.....i to study martial arts but can see in this sort of attack you have no chance .......my thoughts go out to family

@esh325 Thats a great question that can not be answered easily in a few sentences but I will try. Firstly Parenting needs to improve, education will play a big part in this, then prevention (giving Law Enforcement stronger stop and search powers) and finally ensuring the courts are given the powers and encouragement to put certain types of offenders in jail first offence. We live in a mamby pamby liberal society that is only concerned with the financial cost of incarcerating these animals.
