The Perlman Music Program (PMP) in Jerusalem 2010 is an inspiring residency in which the Jerusalem Music Centre (JMC) is hosting PMP, May 20th to June 6th. Headed by Itzhak and Toby Perlman, and joined by an international faculty, PMP is visiting Jerusalem for an intensive musical course, bringing together the international team with a select group of students and faculty from our partners in the program—the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
Program participants play in an orchestra under the baton of Maestro Perlman; study chamber music; learn classical Arabic music; receive individual lessons from a world-class faculty; sing in chorus together with all faculty; perform, and enjoy educational sight-seeing trips throughout the country.
