When I saw Nickel Creek for their first time on PBS/KCET's Austin City Limits, they blew me away. Their sound, intensity, and tight bluegrass acoustic chops as inspired by modern electric alternative rock were like the brightest children of parents like "Muleskinner," "Newgrass Revival," and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken." Can we have a reunion album soon, please?
Hey guys, great song! My 13 year old daughter here in Australia has also written a song called Green and Grey. See her by searching Tamika D-M Singer Songwriter. She might be singing your song soon too!
I adore this song, and I adore them live -- but I must admit I wished they slowed the tempo down just a tad, more like the original on the record. But still, it's awesome.
@EmyYorke actually either way is correct, although "grey" was the first accepted way to spell the color.

Simply beautiful...fast or slow, gray or grey,,,who cares. It is perfection.
