a very basic work in progress game test of a Roguelike / dungeoncrawl / nethack inspired game... and of course one of my all time favorite games... Gauntlet :D

The actual level is NOT currently randomly generated, but that is my intent as soon as i figure out how to make a decent dungeon generation algorithm :)

the player avatar is controlled with the keyboard and aiming is done with the mouse.
it was all made in Unity3d with textures made in Filter Forge Basic.

  • @thegeekyjedi Thanks. And yeah, its not turn based or supposed to be a roguelike... its INSPIRED by roguelikes though :)

  • This doesnt look Roguelike because Roguelikes are like you move then enemy moves then you stop moving and enemy stops moving and so on but other than that its looking good!

  • @W3ST4WAY I had a semi-working system. So i put the project on hold until i learned more about programming :) currently working on a much smaller scale game for the Unity Competition at Kongregate :)
