When I was in 6th or 7th Standard in NMV, some boys from my class incl. me were selected to sing 'Balsagar Bharat howo' under the MD V Desai and Vani Jayram to celebrate the launch of 'Kishore' a childrens magazine in front of various dignitaries like Rajyapal, CM of Maharashtra etc. Turned out to be a torturous event as we were made to wait in blazing sun due to severe delays.

Wow. Can't believe I am seeing this video after some 40 odd yrs. One of my teachers in NMV Pune used2 make us sing this song and we kinda got tired but then after twenty years or so it started haunting me a bit.
