  • Dick toured in the early 60s supporting US acts like Gene Pitney, Brenda Lee, Everly Bros, Duane Eddy and was in close proximity to players like Page and Blackmore. He also played with Hurricane that also featured Carlo Little and Stuart Colman and did guitar duties for Neil Christian. Southern Nights play around Surrey and West Sussex and they create that authentic R'n'R sound- 50s early 60s with the Telecaster sound as per James Burton. Hearing Gene Vincent got Dick playing in 1956.
