The Song of Compostela by Anonymus, arranged by myself. One of the few pieces I can play on my 10-string Yepes-guitar. This is an homage to him - Maestro Narciso Yepes from Valencia - the inventor of this instrument.

  • AMAZING!!! and I agree: Yepes was great!!!

Please correct me in case i´m wrong, but i think the song you play is an arrangement of "Dum Paterfamilias" (the first part of track 5 in the album "Santiago" by the irish band The Chieftains). Anyway, it sounds absolutely GREAT.

THANKS A LOT FROM SPAIN!!! (and sorry for my awful English... :$).

  • Hi, thanks very much.

I did not know that with the Dum Paterfamilias. This can really be the case since it is a traditional pilgrim song of pilgrims going by foot many kilometers to Santiago de Compostela.

    CU Andreas

  • hey good playing there, i've been playing classical for 10 years now and i have a ten string as well, mine cost me $3,500 and thats because i had mine made by the same brand yepes had, the jose ramirez brand and i just love the over tones it produces, just keep playing and who knows, you might be as good as he was, and it sucks he's not in this world anymore, R.I.P NARSICO YEPES

  • Hi, thanks.

great to have a Ramirez! I bought this guitar over 25 years ago and it is made by Yairi (Japan). This was the only affordable brand for me (:-).
