Feel free to ask any questions on the build or the car. More videos to come in the future. Thanks much for watching!

DISCLAIMER: I know this will happen, it has happened before other places... But I don't want to hear how much you hate gear drives and why I shouldn't use one! That's "advice" that I won't take... So I don't want to hear it... Thanks again!

  • Nice build! :-)

  • @phlebmaster1 Thanks much! It's been a lot of fun. C-Cast heads, big cam, and longtubes this thing should be pumpin' out some ridiculous raw Olds power!

  • what kind of olds 455 are you building? A single plane intake suggests high rpm use. You should have gotten a 425 crank and rods, and pistons to put in the 455 block. The 455 has more stroke than bore, which isn't a rev motor. You do know that edelbrock just came out w/ an air gap dual plane intake which would be better for the street.

  • Very nice. I'm sure it will be a rocket right out of the gate. That gear drive will give the engine quite a sound. All the right stuff! Slightly different direction then mine will be taking.
