THANK YOU to whomever took this for posterity. So lucky to have seen this firsthand! .... The brother of a mate of mine saw JD in a barn in the countryside when they first started -- I always wished someone had captured that precious moment on video too.

this is awsome. i love joy division. i used to only appreciate metal. but in my old band we played joy division covers......it changed the way i will forever look at music.
i had to play drums which i thought was boring concidering how repetitive it is.....but jesus christ its more powerfull than anything

I love him!!!Since I first listened to their songs(poems really....)they have become my fav band...music makes me shiver..lyrics touch me like nthg has ever b4...his voice brings tears in my eyes..pity he had to leave this world so young...RIP Ian...
