i got this for my phone two days ago, it's so addictive.

played the demo. now Im HOOKED

Ah, right. Well I have only ever heard Americans say "addicting" when British people would say "addictive". I have honestly never come across the word addicting in any other context. But I love learning about language, so thanks!

"Addictive" is the adjective, "addicting" is the (transitive) verb. Saying "This game is addicting" is like saying "This game is cooling."
-
Go and google "history of the word addicting"
Yeah, that's what I thought.

Downloaded the demo from gamespot last month and bought the game soon after. It's a game you have to try to fully understand just how well made it is, once you do chances are you might be completely hooked on it like me. These original concepts should always be supported IMO.

Haha. Well yeah it looks interesting. I have to admit I don't feel like I got a full understanding from the trailer... probably just the unfortunate youtube resolution though.

Actually, yes it is. Use a dictionary.
Looks a lot like Yoshi's Cookie...

Addicting is only a word to Americans. Everywhere else the word to use is "addictive". This means neither is wrong, they are just different.
The game looks cool though :)
