Xenakis is a multi-user instrument to stochastically create music with a tangible interface. You can control the played instruments, their rhythmic and notes by moving physical objects on a luminous table surface.

The instrument has been developed by students of Software Engineering at the University of Augsburg, Germany.

This has nothing to do with Xenakis' music, why did they use his name? The stochastic approach is really poor, the rhythms and tones are all predetermined to party standards, can this machine make atonal music? can it make 9 eights equivalent to 5 eights? Xenakis could do all that and more with magnetic tapes, no shiny lights blinking will replace creativity.
