Center Creek Dairy Harvesting Oats with there Massey Ferguson 8780XP Combine. While the New Holland 1411 discbine mows Straw down. Ford 8730 hauling J&M Gravity wagons.

  • Why did you cut the straw with the mower? Can´t the MF handle the straw through it?

  • @vafaningetnamnledigt Yeah, But you get more straw with the discbine than the combine.

  • The pooch just kinda hangs out there eh? My uncles pooch used to do the same thing in the MF 2775 and the combine..........she dont no more though.

  • Naw, its my girlfriends uncle's Farm. But i'm friends with them. There just on the other side of town. We Farm mostly hay. We do corn and oats when we need it for our feed we grind for our cattle.

  • Yes this is the only oat field they had, it was around 33 acres. They had I'm guessing around 100 acres of wheat they harvested this year.

  • Wheat can be planted in the fall and survive the winter while oats will die if you plant them in the fall. That why oats are harvested later because you plant them around April and May.

  • Now that's what I call git-n-er done!
