In the last 10-30 minutes of viewing it, Wikipedia has changed the date of Bin Laden's death from May 1st, to May 2nd. I don't know what they're doing, and it's possible they may change it again. So scratch me saying Wikipedia does say May 1st. Because for now, they've changed it to May 2nd.

And that seems to confirm that you were wrong. Unless they change it again.

There are conflicting reports and/or rumors that Bin Laden was killed one week ago, but the announcement was either put off so that DNA testing could confirm it was really him, or so that the news would not overshadow the British "Royal" Wedding.

I sent you a PM with corroboration that some people/outlets claim Bin Laden was killed a week ago. It's difficult to say he died May 1, 2011, because of the conflicting reports and conflicting rumors. Wikipedia does say May 1.
