Mario Kart Wii - 50cc Shell Cup Grandprix 3 Star Rank Part 2

About:
Grandprix on 50cc with Karts only
Light weight class Mii Rider
with Mini Beast Vehicle

Head over to the Mii channel to lower your character weight and height
and you be able to choose light weight class.

Race Tracks:

SNES Ghost Valley 2:
theres a short ramp you can jump over but don't fall down
at the end of the finish line is a arrow boost and a small ramp
the time i beat on ghost valley was 01:21:425

N64 Mario Raceway:
if you get a mushroom you can jump on the ramp and gain speed
the time i beat on mario raceway was 02:52:292

In order to get a 3 star rank:

Rocket Start:
as the number 2 begins disappears press the accelerate button

Mini-Boost & Super Mini-Turbo:
you must have drifting skills around corners

Shortcuts:
Some tracks has shortcuts to gain ahead in first

Tricks:
Flick your wii wheel to perform stunts around jumps

Defence Item:
Shells,Bananas and Fake Item Box are useful when first in lead

Speed Time:
often use arrow boost to make lower times and shortcuts

Dodging Items:
Its okay being hit sometimes by the Spiny Shell or the POW block
if you manage to dodge these items you get a 3 star rank

How do you dodge POW blocks? Please tell me how, and can you dodge POW blocks without Wii Wheels?

with the wii wheel wiggle as the third pow start to spin around and you recovered i think you can use the d-pad to recover for pow block or L trigger

PLEASE!!! I need your help!! I never got hit ONCE AND beat your times AND stayed in first the whole time came in first for every race. I also did tons of tricks in the air. I've been wasting my time playing all night long and getting 2 stars and i feel as though I dont deserve only 2. Any hints or something that I am doing wrong??

@personqwer4321 It actually has to do with the grand prix. If you get a star on every prix you get a 1 star rank next to your name. 2 stars on every grand prix you get 2 stars next to your name etc. They are probably faster because to earn stars you need to be good.

im wondering how you get a star rank. not on the grand prixs, but on your mii's overall ranking. on wi fi i see alot of people with stars next to their names. and that makes them go faster and almost always win. Answer please.

@samsonite8881 you dodge pows by shaking the remote in the last thing of how it goes boom boom boom then on the last one shake the remote

@samsonite8881 If you use a GCN or Classic controller, wheelie when the pow block appears (so you're wheeling) and keep pressing wheelie, which would be UP on the Directional Pad, until it's over.
