Script:

Hey Guys, howbuild here and today we're going to be talking about how to shoot a scene in front of a mirror without showing the camera. This has always been a common mystery. Now the cheap way is to put the camera on an angle so that its not in the shot. However, the more impressive way (seen in tons of movies and the online video POV Really girl - college humor) Is to film straight on, using some video effects.
This is a fairly easy thing to do. First film your video with the mirror in it, with you and your camera in it aswell, this is going to be considered a border for your scene. Then, simply turn the camera around to face the environment of your mirror,
In the editing phase, drag the second video (the one without the mirror) on top of your 'border' video. Drag it to fit the mirror and feather it a teeny bit. thats it!

thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!

  • well that was kinda boring? First! and i didn't really find it to be any good.

  • @minifilms123 Thank you for your feedback; no matter how hard and depressing it is to hear, I try to get back to everybody. The video is only 1 minute long, so unless you have the shortest attention span ever, it couldn't of been that boring. Thanks though!

  • @somenun

the thing is, can it be achieved without any editing?

  • Can you tell me how to do this trick using Adobe premiere pro? Because you did not mention what editing program you used. Thanks

  • please do real time

  • Cool. Didn't know this.

  • One other way it to use a perspective-control or tilt/shift lens. The camera can be panned perpendicular to the wall and the lens shifted to place the mirror near the center of the frame without the camera appearing in the mirror.

  • i only saw the video because there was hot girl and i learn abit

  • any real time teaching.. how to do it...

  • Nice trick. Thanks for the video.

  • @somenun aha, great sound, i got it now, thanks

  • @M0HAMMAD2 I think what he means is record the mirror in one shot. Turn the camera so its facing away from the mirror and record your action. Then in editing, edit the videos so that he one facing away from the mirror is within the bounderies of the mirror in the first video shot.
