Is there a version with a longer barrel? (I mean more distance between the front sight and the flash hider, just to be clear.)

Indeed, the basic model M4A1 has the longer barrel (still shorter then the M16 of course. The M4 in the video is a CQB model with an even shorter barrel then the M4A1.

Which would shoot actual bullets which would actually maim or kill your friends thus nullifying the whole point of Airsofts ability to be used as a safe *alternative* to the danger of live ammunition or the higher risks of using less-than-lethal or simmunitions.

they are very capricious, and depend on the weather. And a lot of discomfort with the dressing magazines, and they are easily damaged than aeg's magazines. Imho

@SuperLetterbomb The reason why there arent any " 13 year old boys " playing airsoft is not because they cant afford it, but that its illegal for anyone under the age 18 to own a RIF ( realistic imitation firearm ) and participate in UKARA registered games, Although some sites are regulated to allow under aged gamers. ( IN THE UK )

@seymourtets dude, there are enough adults who spent so much money and airsoft isn't that different from paintball you just haven't noticed that yet. it's made for adults cuz - as you noticed - 13-year-old boys can't pay such a gun. guys in your age should get guns which are payable but still good quality.
