The skirt is quite full and responsive --looks to be silk chiffon. Who made it for you ? It is very good for giving the dance an elegant and highly feminine style. I am happy to see costumes different from the average! Your style is very much like mine when dancing. I learned the dance in 1972 and taught it in San Diego all through the seventies. Hi Anisa (love the name), thanks for your apreciation, i am also sorry that the belly dance dresses are so far from my "imaginarium" of what belly dance should be.... sometimes i try to make something up, its always a challenge, and i would love to see bellydancing at the seventies, i imagine it would be gourgeos... i sometimes look for videos of that time... nowadays bellydancing is spread all over the world but many times without feelling... making belly dance loose some respect...
