YES, I have dairy goats and have found that a microplane is ever made. It will slice off nail or excess toe equally well come in course and fine cut, and even comes in about 6 different shapes for corrective foot work. Each girl takes 3 to 5 minutes.My girls lay on a table and let me trim away. I orderer mine on the internet
